[origin: WO0220367A1] A carton for holding one or more articles, for example, flexible pouches, which carton comprises an article retaining structure for preventing the dislodgement of the packaged articles through the open ends of the carton wherein the article retaining structure comprises a retaining panel (26) extends between the carton side walls (14, 18) intermediate the top (22) and bottom walls (16) of the carton to form a tubular structure in cooperation with the top wall (22), the retaining panel (26) is formed with at least one article receiving aperture (90, 92), wherein tubular structure is provided with a brace (50) for retaining the tubular structure in an erected form.
