[origin: WO02059448A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for boring holes (2) in the floor or in rock. A bore hole (2) is formed by a striking movement and/or a rotational movement by means of a bore-crown (3) positioned on a boring rod and divided in the radial direction into a central pilot bore-crown (4) and a ring bore-crown (5) surrounding said pilot bore-crown (4), a jacket tube or a cladding tube (11) being introduced into the bore hole (2). According to the invention, after completing the boring, the ring bore-crown (5) is connected to the end (18) of the cladding tube (11) facing the bore-crown and is released from the central pilot bore-crown (4) of the bore-crown, and said pilot bore-crown (4) is removed from the bore hole (2).
