[origin: FR2819977A1] The invention concerns a part for supporting and fixing an electric or electronic component (7), comprising a compartment supporting (1) the electric component (7), two clamps (3A, 3B) each engaged and in electrical continuity with a pin (9A, 9B) of the electric or electronic component (7) arranged in the compartment (1) between the two clamps (3A, 3B) and a removable closure cap (11). The invention is characterised in that a blade (5) is fixed on the closure cap (11) to cut a electric wire (13) engaged and in electrical continuity with the two clamps (3A, 3B) so as to mount the electric or electronic component (7) in series on the electric wire (13). Preferably, the supporting and fixing part comprises a block (15) to act as support for the electric wire (13) when it is being cut by the blade (5) and apertures (17A, 17B) providing clearance for the two strands of the cut electric wire (13).
