Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1354648A1] The unit for the working of sheet metal (9) has sheet metal working device (2) and several roll frames (4) upon each of which is mounted a sheet metal roll (5-7). A transporting device is provided for drawing the metal sheet from off the sheet rolls and feeding it to a working tool. The unit has an automatic pull-in device (3) which has an upper pivotable section which in an open position forms a side open passage. The pull-in device has means for sensing the position of a sheet metal end (9a) and this may be a photocell or light barrier.
