Abstract (en)
The cutter has at least one nozzle (2), the water jet of which is directed at the paper (1), and is located above a pulper (6) for catching the severed strip (7). In the cutting area, the paper web runs along a support plate (3) located opposite the nozzle. The plate forms a glide surface, which runs in parallel to the paper web. The web runs at a distance from the support plate, at least when not subjected to impact of the water jet. This distance is preferably 0.0 - 0.5 mm.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Wasserstrahl-Schneideinrichtung zum Trennen eines Streifens (7) von einer laufenden Papier-, Karton-, Tissue- oder einer anderen Faserstoffbahn (1) in einer Maschine zur Herstellung und/oder Veredlung der Faserstoffbahn (1) mit zumindest einer Düse (2), deren Wasserstrahl auf die Faserstoffbahn (1) gerichtet ist. Dabei soll die Einrichtung bei zumindest gleichbleibender Betriebssicherheit dadurch im Aufbau vereinfacht werden, dass sie über einen Pulper (6) installiert wird und somit keine Abführ- und Absaugsysteme notwendig sind. <IMAGE>
