Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1022396A2] The combination shower assembly (11) has a front panel (12) with at least one shower function unit (13). The front panel (12) can be of glass and/or a translucent material, for the light from a back lighting unit (29) and any light diffusers (27) to direct the light outwards through the front panel (12). The rear surface of the front panel glazing (12) has a coating impermeable to light, apart from the light passage zones (21). The assembly has a holding rod (19) for a hand shower (13) or shelves (18) of a light conductive or transparent material, illuminated by back lighting (39).
