[origin: EP1355206A2] The timepiece has a units ring (1) divided into ten sectors or a multiple of tens sector, each bearing a numeral from 0 to 9, a tens disc (2) provided with numerals from 0 to 3. Nine sectors (a) separating the numerals 0-1; 1-2; to 8-9, have an angular extent equal to four fifths of an angular extent of sector (b) separating the numerals 9-0. The units ring has teeth (3) engaging with a pinion (4) secured to the tens disc. The tens disc is positioned relative to the units disc so as to display the numerals side by side in the space of a large window.
