Abstract (en)

The lifting mechanism includes a support plate through which lifting bars (5) pass. The bars are arranged to pivot, so that when moved they act to separate bread from the plates on which it has been supported in an automatic handling system. The lifting mechanism for products held on a support plate includes a lifting bar (5) arranged such that it passes through a slot (4) formed in the plate. The plate on which the items are carried is plane, with an upturned edge (3), with the slots in the plate extending through the plane region. The lifting bars pivot about an axis (6) perpendicular to the slots, situated beneath the supporting plane of the plate. A number of the lifting bars may be coupled to a linked lever system, so that they may be operated simultaneously. Once the lifting mechanism has been operated, separating the item from the supporting plate, the item may then slide off the plate as part of a mechanised transport system.

Abstract (fr)

<IMAGE>
