[origin: DE10103700A1] The invention relates to a method for the permanent deformation of keratin fibres. According to said method, the keratin fibres are treated with a permanent-wave preparation containing a keratin reducing substance before and/or after a mechanical deformation, the fibres are then rinsed after a reaction period, subsequently fixed using an aqueous preparation of an oxidant, optionally rinsed again after a reaction period and optionally re-treated. The method is particularly effective and kind to the fibres, if the permanent-wave preparation is produced from a keratin reducing solution (A) and a protective component (B), by mixing the two components before application.
