[origin: DE10102234A1] The high pressure fuel supply, for an internal combustion motor with fuel injection, has a piston (5) which slides within the drilling (3) of a valve body (1). The piston movement is guided by a sealing section (105) within a guide section (103) of the drilling, where fuel is fed into a pressure zone (19) at one end of the guide section under high pressure. An oil leakage zone (15) is at the other end of the guide section. The piston sealing section has at least one groove (30) in a hydraulic link with the pressure zone, as far as a ring gap between the piston and the inner wall of the guide section. The ring gap is sealed against the leakage zone. The piston is centered hydraulically within the drilling.
