Abstract (en)

[origin: DE10104695A1] A premix burner is disclosed, in which air and fuel may be mixed to give a fuel/air mixture, for the formation of at least one stable flame front, within a combustion chamber arranged downstream, for driving a gas turbine arranged after the combustion chamber, comprising a premix burner housing, which is embodied in the form of an open tube, connected downstream to the combustion chamber, by means of a transition contour and through which air can flow, a burner lance embodied as an inner tube, extending on the upstream side into the interior of the premix burner housing, enclosing an annular cross-section flow channel with the premix burner housing and comprising an inner tube wall which surrounds an inner flow channel, in which at least one fuel supply unit for the supply of fuel into the inner flow channel is provided and at least one other fuel supply unit for the supply of fuel to the annular flow channel is provided such that, downstream of the inner tube, in the region of the combustion chamber, the fuel/air mix is ignited within the flame front.
