Abstract (en)
A system for controlling and monitoring the operation of self-moving machines with an articulated arm, particularly concrete pumps, is disclosed comprising a plurality of sensors and transducers apt to collect data regarding the machine position, attitude and operating parameters, and a central unit apt to receive in real time said data, process and compare them with reference data regarding the proper use of the machine and make them comprehensible to an operator. A maintenance method based on the acquisition and comparison of the data of said system equipped with a memory device is also described. <IMAGE>
