Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1356932A2] The pregripper drive for sheet transfer in a printing press between from a lay on table to a sheet holder. The gripper (12) defines a straight line feed path and has a return path under the feed path. The return path ca also be on a straight line. The gripper can be mounted on guide rails which extend from the lay on table through to the area of the cylinder (9).
