Abstract (en)
Process for rinsing a container with protective gas comprises introducing and removing the protective gas parallel to the surface of the filling opening of the container. The filling opening is connected in a leak proof manner to a channel used for introducing/removing the protective gas. An Independent claim is also included for a device used for carrying out the above process. Preferred Features: The incoming protective gas has a higher pressure and/or the outgoing gas has a lower pressure than the environment of the device.

Die Erfindung sieht eine Schutzgas-Strömung vor, die durch einen Kanal gelenkt wird. Der Kanal weist die Strömung begrenzende Wände (19, 21) auf. An diese Strömung wird durch eine Ausnehmung (10) in der unteren Wand (21) ein Behälter über seine Befüllöffnung herangeführt. Gemäss der Erfindung strömt im Randbereich der Befüllöffnung das Schutzgas im Wesentlichen in einer Ebene ein und aus. Zusammen mit dem Behälter bildet der Kanal einen geschlossenen Spülraum für die Schutzgas-Spülung. <IMAGE>
