[origin: EP1357036A2] Device (10) for transferring small objects (1) from a supply device (11) into a packaging (2) having a recess for the objects comprises at least one transfer wheel (21-24) rotating about a horizontal axis and having recesses (25) for the objects uniformly arranged along its periphery. The transfer wheel and the packaging are moved continuously. The transfer wheel is arranged at an angle to the conveying direction (31) of the packaging. The speed of the transfer wheel and the conveying speed of the packaging are coordinated so that at the transfer site the speed component of the transfer wheel in the conveying direction approximately corresponds to the conveying speed of the packaging.
