Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1357206A2] Aluminum alloy part is anodized by providing aqueous anodizing bath comprising 55-85 g/l sulfuric acid, and excluding presence of any phosphoric acid or any boric acid; maintaining bath at 15-27 degreesC; dipping part into bath; applying voltage of 5-30 V to dipped part with low current density on part; and maintaining part in bath until coating of desired thickness has been obtained, which is 1-3 microns.
