Abstract (en)
The headlamp has an elliptical reflector (12) with a rear reflecting surface (18,20) and a light source (14) positioned at a first focus (F1) of the reflector, and a convergent front lens (16) with its focal plane at the second focus (F2) of the reflector. The reflector has a flat horizontal surface (22) with a reflective upper face, passing through the second focus of the reflector.

L'invention propose un module d'éclairage (10) réalisant un faisceau d'éclairage à coupure, comportant, agencés d'arrière en avant suivant un axe optique horizontal (A-A), un réflecteur (12) elliptique qui délimite un volume de réflexion et qui comporte une surface elliptique de réflexion (18, 20), au moins une source lumineuse (14) qui est agencée au voisinage d'un premier foyer (F1) du réflecteur (12), et une lentille convergente (16) dont le plan focal est agencé au voisinage du second foyer (F2) du réflecteur (12), caractérisé en ce que le réflecteur (12) comporte une surface plane horizontale (22), dont la face supérieure (24) est réfléchissante, qui délimite verticalement vers le bas le volume de réflexion, et en ce que la surface plane (22) du réflecteur (12) comporte un bord de coupure (28) qui est agencé au voisinage du second foyer (F2) du réflecteur (12). L'invention propose aussi un projecteur comportant un tel module d'éclairage. <IMAGE>
