Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1357452A1] The unit has a pedal arm (1), a foot plate (2) at one end and an eye (3') at the other partly enclosing a fixed horizontal axle (4). The eye and axle are at least partly arranged in a housing (12) and a lever (5) is pivotably linked to the end of the pedal arm farthest from the foot plate. The lever is applied to the axle at one end and connected to a restoring spring (6) at the other that is joined to the housing at its end remote from the lever.
