[origin: GB2371203A] A non-invasive method of rendering an animal insensible is provided whereby at least one coil 4 is brought adjacent an animal's 1 head and a large rate of change of current is caused to flow therein such that a rapidly changing magnetic flux is induced in the brain of the animal which renders the animal insensible.
