Abstract (en)
The safety cable (2) is held at intervals by supports (1) fixed to a rigid surface, each support having a guide bush (1A) for the cable to pass through. A lifeline (3) is attached to a sliding connector (4) with an open channel (4A) and rollers (5) that allow it travel along the whole length of the cable. The channel can be offset relative to the connector's centre of gravity or the connector can be weighted so that the anchoring point (6) for the lifeline is always below the cable, except for when it passes the supports.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de sécurité du type constitué d'une part d'éléments (1) supports portant de place en place un câble (2), d'autre part d'au moins une pièce (4) mobile raccordable à une ligne (3) de vie et positionnable autour du câble (2) pour coulisser librement le long de ce dernier. Ce dispositif est caractérisé en ce qu'au moins une partie des éléments (1) supports d'un câble (2) unique sont constitués d'un fourreau (1A) formant chemin de guidage du câble (2) et d'un élément (1B) de liaison du fourreau (1A) à un support stationnaire quelconque, chaque pièce (4) mobile comportant au moins un conduit (4A) traversant pour le passage du câble (2) ou du fourreau (1A) de l'élément (1) de support de câble (2) et un passage (4B) ouvert débouchant dans le conduit (4A) pour le passage de l'élément (1B) de liaison de l'élément (1) de support de câble. <IMAGE>
