Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1358943A1] Arc spraying uses spray gun (1) with 2 electrically conductive spray wires (2) and first supply device (3) to supply fluid(4), with electrical voltage applied to wires. The wires are fed by wire guide (5), an arc (6) being ignited by the voltage. The wires are converted into melt (8) in melting region (7) and the melt is applied to the fluid to surface (9) of body (10). Particles (11) from storage container (12) are supplied to the melt. An Independent claim is also included for an apparatus for arc spraying comprising the spray gun that includes the wire guide and first supply device.
