[origin: EP1358964A1] The drive shaft (18) has an eccentric (24) of reduced diameter formed on the end. It carries a ring (54) on a needle roller bearing (52). The ring has a spherical outer surface (22) and engages in the end (56) of a swinging arm (28). Opposed springs (60,62) engage on the end of the arm and drive it towards its central position. The arm is rigidly fixed to the oscillating shaft 30 which may rotate through 0.5 to 7 degrees at a speed of 5,000 to 30,000 oscillations per minute.
