Abstract (en)
A system for removing swarf from cutting fluid has the swarf and fluid mixture fed into the top of a duct inside which a reciprocating piston presses the mixture into a perforated duct. The fluid is forced out of the perforations and is recycled while the swarf is compressed out of a restricted outlet jet to form slugs which are easily collected for disposal. The reciprocating piston is driven by a simple crank and the whole system is mounted on a base and is stood in the collecting tray under a cutting machine. The reclaimed cutting fluid can be further cleaned by a centrifugal filter.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Behandeln von mit einer Flüssigkeit getränkten Spanabfällen aus einer spanenden Werkstückbearbeitung, insbesondere zum Trennen von Kühlschmierstoff von Kunststoffspänen, mit einem zum Aufnehmen der getränkten Spanabfälle ausgebildeten, einen Auslass (28;40) für die Flüssigkeit anbietenden Aufnahmekörper (10;50)und mit dem Aufnahmekörper zusammenwirkenden Extraktionsmitteln (14, 16;32,34,36) für die Flüssigkeit, wobei die Extraktionsmittel eine zum Komprimieren der getränkten Spanabfälle im Aufnahmekörper angetriebene Kolbeneinheit (16;36) aufweisen, der Aufnahmekörper eine einen Hubbereich (18) für einen Kolben (16) der Kolbeneinheit anbietende Innenform aufweist und endseitig einen sich verjüngenden Auslassbereich (12;40) für komprimierte Spanabfälle ausbildet. <IMAGE>
