[origin: EP1359075A2] A cable sheath (7) of the cable control (3) is arranged in a wheel carrier through a holding device. The holding device (1) has a sliding sleeve with a fixing sleeve (4) which rests against the wheel carrier (6). The sliding sleeve (5) can be adjusted at a slidable manner from a mounting position with a cable end held with a cable slack with respect to the expanding lock into a fixing position.
