Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1359256A2] The barrier (3) is mounted on a baseplate (1) with holes (2) to accommodate screws fastening it to the floor. The central column (4) is hollow and has a forked lower end (8) with a pin (7) engaging an eye (6) projecting up from the baseplate. There is a locking rod (11) inside the column connected to a lock (12) near the top. The two side arms (5) extend horizontally out from the central column and their ends are bent down through 90 degrees to form vertical side columns also hinged to the baseplate. The bottom ends of all three columns have rounded caps (9).
