Eine Vorrichtung zum Schutz einer nach oben offenen Dachrinne (12) vor Verschmutzung, insbesondere durch in die Dachrinne (12) fallendes Laub, umfasst ein wasserdurchlässiges Gitternetz (15), das die Dachrinne (12) nach oben hin abdeckt, im Bereich der Dachrinne (12) eben ausgebildet ist, und zum äusseren Rand (14) der Dachrinne (12) hin ein Gefälle aufweist. Eine solche Vorrichtung wird in Herstellung und Montage dadurch vereinfacht, dass das Gitternetz (15) zumindest am äusseren Rand (14) der Dachrinne (12) mittels einzelner, im Abstand voneinander angeordneter Befestigungselemente (13) befestigt ist. <IMAGE>
