Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1359273A1] The locking system uses first and second actuator rods (3,4) moving locking pins (20,22) in opposite directions. The pins have enlarged heads and engage in grooves in a locking catch (24). The drive system (5) has a sector gear (7) with three teeth (8) which engage in holes (9) in the second sliding rod. A pinion (12) engages in holes in the second rod and engages in holes (15) in the first rod to move it in the opposite direction. The sector gear has a square bore (6) to accommodate a handle.
