According to the invention, the coupling device (12, 100) has a synchronizing device (18, 112) with a locking mechanism (20, 110) that transmits a driving torque, said mechanism having at least two corresponding locking elements (22, 24, 108) during synchronization, wherein at least one of the locking elements (22) can be moved from a locking position by the elastic force of a spring element (26, 116) during an overlatching moment.
