[origin: WO02062676A1] A wraparound article carrier and a blank for forming a wraparound article arrier for packaging an article (A) such as a pot of foodstuffs, for example, the carrier comprising opposed top and base walls (18, 14) interconnected by opposed side walls (16; 12, 20) thereby forming a tubular structure. An perture (36) is provided in the base wall panel (14) to accommodate a portion of the article. A bracing tab (34) is struck from the aperture (36) and folded so as to act as a spacer thereby causing the top and base (18, 14) to be spaced by a predetermined distance.
