Abstract (en)

[origin: DE10104618A1] The invention relates to a valve for controlling liquids, comprising an especially piezoelectric actuator unit for actuating a valve element (10) which is arranged in a valve body (22) consisting of at least one part. Said valve element comprises at least one adjusting piston (11) connected to the actuator unit, and at least one actuating piston (13) which interacts with the adjusting piston (11) by means of a hydraulic coupler (12). Said actuating piston is connected to a valve closing element (14) which co-operates with at least one valve seat (15) and which, in the closed state, separates a control chamber (19) from a discharge chamber (20). The hydraulic coupler (12) is provided with a filling device. Said valve closing element (14) comprises a cylindrical region (17; 41; 51) which is embodied in the form of a piston, and which forms, with the valve body (22), at least one filtering gap for the liquid to be supplied to the filling device, at the height of which a supply channel (26) branches off from the filling device.
