[origin: FR2820843A1] The invention concerns a data copy-protecting system for creating a copy secured optical disc. The system comprises, at the editor's of an application (12), a creating software assembly (10) borne by a self-protected optical disc including a set of protecting elements enabling the editor to insert in the application a protecting file translating his strategic protective choices. The resulting set is transcribed onto a carrier disc (CD-R1) to be sent to the stamping specialist. The latter, using a pre-mastering software (20) reproduces the content of the final disc comprising a two-part protective zone, in the form of two discs (CD-R2, CD-R3) respectively containing the data of the main track with the first part of the protective zone and of the second part. The invention is useful for creating copy secured optical discs.
