[origin: WO02065491A1] A spring cap (10), especially for an electric component, comprising a yoke (11) with a central planar area (12) and spring clips (17) on two opposite-lying sides, in addition to limbs (13) on two opposite-lying sides, said limbs being embodied in the form of spring clips. The electric component comprises a coil body (20) with contact strips (24, 25) formed thereon, a magnetizable core (30) whose parts engage with a centre- punch type element (31) inside the coil body and the spring cap can be slid onto the core during engagement with the coil body, the limbs thereof entering into contact with the contact strips and the spring clips thereof entering into contact with the magnetizable core.
