Abstract (en)
The prosthesis, comprising a cup-shaped acetabular implant (10) with a hemispherical inner cavity (11), and a femoral implant (30) with a domed head (31), hemispherical inner cavity (32) and anchoring elements (33), has a flat top section (13) on the outer surface of the cup, which has a truncated conical inner edge and external anchoring projections (15). The head has a hemispherical outer surface with a diameter between 0.05 and 0.12 mm smaller than that of the cup's inner cavity, and anchoring elements round its outer edge. The shank (40) of the implant is inserted lengthwise through the neck of the femur.

La présente invention concerne le domaine de l'orthopédie. La prothèse est caractérisée en ce que : la cupule comporte un méplat sommital (13), une portée tronconique divergente reliant le logement à la base de la cupule, et des moyens d'ancrage présentés par un épaississement (15) circonférentiel externe, la calotte comporte une surface extérieure sphérique (12) d'un diamètre inférieur à celui du logement de la cupule et des moyens d'ancrage présentés par un épaississement circonférentiel saillant intérieurement, Application à une prothèse totale de hanche implantable par voie endoarticulaire. <IMAGE>
