Abstract (en)
The method for assembling flip-top cigarette packets from blanks with flaps comprises applying strips of heat-activatable adhesive (25a - 25g, 27a - 27c) to the flaps, folding the packet into shape and heating to activate the adhesive. An Independent claim is included for a machine for assembling flip-top cigarette packets using the method.

Bei der Herstellung von (Zigaretten-)Packungen (10), insbesondere des Typs Klappschachtel, werden Leimfelder aus einem Thermoaktivkleber bei der Herstellung der Zuschnitte innenseitig und außen angebracht. Die Packungen werden mit den abgebundenen Leimfeldern fertig gefaltet. Bestimmte Faltlappen, nämlich Seitenlappen, werden im Bereich einer an einen Faltrevolver (29) anschließenden Packungsbahn (31) mit Hilfe von Strahlungswärme - Heizorgane (37, 38) - aktiviert. <IMAGE>
