Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1361327A1] A stay for a door or window which allows partial opening with maximum security has a slider moving along the stay and with a locking catch fitted to the stay and moving along a slot in the slider. The locking catch is spring loaded axially and/or the stay has elasticity in the axial direction of the catch. The latter is achieved by a profiled section of the stay to provide a set amount of elasticity.
