Abstract (en)

[origin: DE10108459A1] The aim of the invention is to improve the stability of particulate foam regulating granulates for using in washing and cleaning products. To this end, a solid support material containing alkali carbonate and a Bronsted acid is sprayed with an aqueous foam regulating emulsion containing between 16 wt. % and 70 wt. % of a foam regulating active ingredient based on paraffin wax and/or silicon oil, between 2 wt. % and 15 wt. % of a non-ionic and/or anionic emulsifying agent, and no more than 80 wt. % of water.

[origin: DE10108459A1] A foam-regulator granulate contains a paraffin wax- and/or silicone oil-based foam regulator, a nonionic and/or anionic emulsifier and a solid carrier, this carrier containing alkali carbonate and a Bronsted acid. Also included is an Independent claim for a process in which the solid carrier onto which an aqueous emulsion is sprayed to produce a foam-regulator granulate contains alkali carbonate and a Bronsted acid, the emulsion being of the type described in WO200036063 and comprising by wt: (i) a paraffin wax- and/or silicone oil-based foam regulator (16-70%); (ii) a nonionic and/or anionic emulsifier (2-15%); and (iii) water (up to 80%).
