[origin: WO02057620A1] The invention relates to an injection valve, particularly for an internal combustion engine, comprising a valve control piston (6) and a valve control space (2), which is provided with an inlet throttle (4) and with an outlet throttle (24) for actuating the valve control piston (6). The injection valve also comprises a valve control unit, which is actuated by means of an, in particular, piezoelectric actuator unit (8), and which is provided for controlling the valve control space (2). Said valve control unit is configured like a valve and has a valve closing element (16) that interacts with at least one valve seat (17). In order to ensure a high closing speed of the valve closing element (16), the valve closing element (16) and the at least one valve seat (17) are arranged inside the valve control space (2).
