Abstract (en)

[origin: WO02066888A1] The invention relates to blister lights used for signalling and/or marking purposes. Said blister lights comprise a housing (2) which is embedded in a traffic area (3), e.g. a street, an airport runway for taking off and for landing, or the like; a housing cover (4) by which means the housing (2) embedded in the traffic area can be closed on its upper side, said cover being detachably connected to the housing (2) and comprising at least one light outlet (12); and an illuminating element (6) which is arranged in the housing (2) and by which means the light can radiate through the light outlet (12) of the housing cover (4). In order to enable the illuminating element to have higher current densities and thus to enable the blister lights to have a higher light output capacity, a thermoconducting bridge (9, 17) is formed between the illuminating element (6) and the housing cover (4), by which means the thermal energy produced by the illuminating element (6) can be conducted to the housing cover (4), from which said thermal energy is guided to the traffic area (3) by means of the housing (2) which is embedded therein (3).
