Abstract (en)

The procedure consists of covering the mollusks (1) with a layer of a semi-rigid thermo-shrink plastic film (2) at least 50 microns thick on both sides, and sealing the film in zones (4) between adjacent mollusks and heating to a temperature of 60-90 degrees C for 3-10 s, and preferably 80 degrees C for 8 s. The plastic film can be in the form of two sheets or a single folded sheet, welded in lines between mollusks, or a tube welded transversely between them.

L'invention concerne un procédé de conditionnement de bivalves (1) aquatiques, en particulier marins tels que des huîtres ou des coques, consistant à appliquer par thermorétraction une enveloppe sur chaque bivalve. Selon l'invention, on entoure les bivalves (1) par un film (2) semi-souple thermorétractable, d'une épaisseur supérieure ou égale à 50 microns, on scelle le film (2) dans les zones (4) d'adjacence de deux bivalves (1) et on applique un chauffage à une température comprise entre 60 et 90°C pendant une durée de 3 à 10 secondes. <IMAGE>
