[origin: EP1362816A2] The device for the printing and folding of sheet material has a printing appliance, especially a plotter (2), a folding machine (3) and a transfer guide (4) over which is guided the sheet material running from the plotter into the folding machine. At least one cooling component and preferably a fan (11) is provided for the cooling of the printed sheet material. A fan may be provided in each side section of the transfer guide. One fan may be installed at the air inlet into an air chamber (12) in the transfer guide and another fan at the air outlet.
