Abstract (en)
The folder (1) in a web fed rotary press for the folding of signatures (2) has a cutting device (4) comprising a cutting knife (14) installed on a folding blade cylinder (8) and a rotating anvil element (16). A revolving band-form transporting element (12) is guided around the rotating anvil element, and during the cutting process of the signatures acts as a counter pressure element for the cutting knife. The transporting element is constructed as a belt guided in a slot formed on the anvil element, whereby the depth of the slot is slightly smaller than the thickness of the transporting element.

Ein Falzapparat (1) in einer Rollenrotationsdruckmaschine zum Falzen von Signaturen (2), die durch eine Schneideinrichtung (40) von einer laufenden Bedruckstoffbahn (6) abgetrennt und auf einer Signatur-Transportoberfläche (10) eines Falzmesserzylinders (8) mit Hilfe von zumindest einem umlaufenden bandförmigen Transportelement (12, 22, 36, 38) gefördert werden, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schneideinrichtung (4) ein am Falzmesserzylinder (8) angeordnetes Schneidmesser (14) sowie ein mit diesem zusammenwirkendes rotierendes Ambosselement (16) umfasst, wobei das umlaufende bandförmige Transportelement (12, 22, 36, 38) um das rotierende Ambosselement (16) in der Weise herumgeführt ist, dass dieses beim Schneidvorgang der Signaturen (2) als Stützelement für das Schneidmesser (14) wirkt. <IMAGE>
