Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1362957A1] The motor (90) is connected to the bar (48) through a coupling designed to drive the bar only when the motor is on. The bar has a grip (72) for manual setting between arrest and release and the motor is remotely controlled from the operators stand. Spring (78) urges the bar into the locking setting. The coupling element joined to the bar (48) comprises a concentric disk (94) and the sleeve (92) connecting to the motor encloses this with contact when the motor is on. The motor provides sufficient movement for the tool to be freed from the hoist bracket but this without the bar attaining its arrest setting.
