A cooling installation comprises a vaporiser for at least partially vaporising a coolant by means of ambient heat, which vaporiser is provided with an inlet for supplying liquid coolant to the vaporiser, which vaporiser has multiple parallel lines (circuits), each of which is provided with an outlet for discharging gaseous and liquid coolant from the vaporiser, each outlet opening directly into a collection vessel for the separation therein of the liquid coolant from the gaseous coolant. Each outlet is provided with separating means for separating the liquid coolant from the gaseous coolant. <IMAGE>
