Abstract (en)
The method involves determining at least one operating parameter of the machine, and using it to calculate the crack growth of existing flaws in the component. An internal flaw is determined to be a surface flaw if the internal flaw has grown to an external surface of the component. The current status of the crack is thereby retrievable. The component is a turbine blade, a housing or a shaft of a gas turbine. The operating parameter is the temperature, pressure, a cycle count or a frequency. Independent claims are included for a computer system, a computer program and a computer program product.

Bauteile von mechanisch beanspruchten Maschinen unterliegen mechanischen Spannungen, die zu einem Risswachstum von vorhandenen Fehlern in einem Bauteil führen. Das Risswachstum kann so fortschreiten, dass es zu einem Versagen des Bauteils führt. Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren erlaubt es, ausgehend von Betriebsparametern, das Risswachstum vorhandener Fehler (73) zu berechnen und einen Parameter zu ermitteln, der anzeigt, ob die Lebensdauer noch ausreichend lang genug ist oder beendet ist. <IMAGE>
