Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1364604A1] The stand for a Christmas tree has a foot base (1) with radially adjustable clamping jaw cheeks having radial toothed rods which engage in a groove in a cam plate. The cam plate is a ring with a spiral groove to engage the toothed rods. The spiral ring has peripheral gear teeth engaged by a pinion (8) actuated by an electric motor.
