[origin: WO02068814A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection valve (1), in particular, for directly injecting fuel into the combustion chamber of a mixture-compressing, spark-ignition internal combustion engine. Said fuel injection valve comprises a valve housing consisting of a nozzle body (2), and comprises a sealing ring (34), which seals the fuel injection valve (1) against a cylinder head (36) of the internal combustion engine. The sealing ring (34) is shaped in a convexly arched manner, whereby both ends (35) of the sealing ring (34) overlap in an axially stepped manner.
