Abstract (en)
The guide mechanism for a sliding door (12) on a vehicle (10) consists of a hollow rail (20) on the door containing a slider (16) connected to the slider to the vehicle. The outer end of the lever has a projecting rounded tip that passes through an aperture in the slider to lock in a cavity on the inside of the rail when the door is closed. When the door is opened the lever pivots to disengage its projecting end from the rail cavity before the door slides. The rail itself is closed at one end to act as a stop for the slider.

L'invention concerne un mécanisme de guidage d'une portière coulissante (12) de véhicule automobile (10) comprenant un rail (20), un coulisseau (16) mobile dans ce rail et un bras (18) solidaire du coulisseau, reliant la portière au véhicule par l'intermédiaire du rail, caractérisé en ce que le rail (20) est agencé pour être monté sur la portière (12) tandis que le bras est agencé pour être monté sur le véhicule. L'invention concerne également une portière coulissante et un véhicule automobile muni d'un tel mécanisme. <IMAGE>
