[origin: EP1367209A2] The folding glass panel assembly has neighboring panels linked by a chain, with a swing axis (11) at one side forming sliding guides (10) which ride in guide rails. At least one guide rail has a limit stop (18) at one side which cannot be passed by the glass panels. The free panel edge of the opening panel at this side has a fixed bar profile (16) projecting over the swing axis of the guide, chamfered (17) to the free panel edge at least over the height of the limit stop.
