Abstract (en)
The exhaust pipe assembly (1), for an internal combustion motor, has a flange (14) at one end of the hollow pipe (2). The exhaust pipe has a double-wall structure, with an outer mantle (3) and an inner pipe mantle (4) which is carried out over the end of the outer mantle at the flange. The end of the inner mantle is bent outwards to form a beading (9) around the bottom edge (8) of the outer mantle, and grip against its outer surface (15). The two mantles, together with the lower beading, are pushed into the flange, and the outer circumference of the outer mantle is welded to the flange by a single fillet weld (16) around it.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anordnung zur Führung von Abgasen einer Verbrennungskraftmaschine mit einer rohrartigen Hohlstruktur, zwei an wenigstens einem endseitig der Hohlstruktur (2) angefügten Flansch (14). Die Hohlstruktur (2) ist doppelwandig ausgebildet mit einem Außenmantel (3) und einem Innenmantel (4), wobei der Innenmantel (4) flanschseitig aus dem Außenmantel (3) herausgeführt ist und mit einer nach außen gerichteten Bördelung (9) einen Endabschnitt (8) des Außenmantels (3) an seinem Außenumfang (15) umgreift. Die Bördelung (9) ist zusammen mit dem Endabschnitt (8) in den Flansch (14) eingesteckt und am Außenumfang (15) stoffschlüssig mit dem Flansch (14) verbunden. <IMAGE>
