[origin: WO02074118A1] An inner sole assembly for a shoe. The inner sole assembly comprises an upper body (210) with an upper surface for engaging with a foot of a wearer. A foot bed composite (200) supporting the lower surface of the upper body (210), and the foot bed composite (200) comprising at least a heel portion and an arch portion. The heel portion of the foot bed composite (200) provides lift to the heel portion to assist with introducing forward motion of a foot of the wearer. The heel portion of the foot bed composite (200) typically has a plurality of protrusions (234 and 236) projecting from a bottom surface of the foot bed composite for engagement with an outer sole of the shoe. The inner sole assembly may also include a frame assembly (230) and a canting assembly (260).
